Serendipitous Thoughts by Sugar Bear
“You Ever Close Your Eyes and Mind to All the Noise and Just Focus on Heaven?”
“Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2
This means to me that God is the One who rescues and protects us. Because He is our salvation, we can trust Him and release our fear. He gives strength in weakness, defense in hardship, and security in uncertainty. Our hope rests in Him alone.
Beloved, lean in for a moment.
Today, I did something simple but sacred:
I closed my eyes… shut out the noise… and turned my mind toward Heaven.
And into that quiet, a word thundered into my spirit so fresh, so alive, it felt like the first time I had ever heard it.
“Surely God is my salvation.”
When those words hit me, I whispered, “You’re OK, Sugar Bear… you’re OK.”
Because the powerful voice of Jesus is shaping my voice, and when He speaks, every storm inside me bows down. That’s hallelujah soulness.
Today, I’m inviting you into one mighty word:
salvation.
Salvation is rescue for us.
Salvation is hope for us.
Salvation is strength for us.
Salvation is healing for us.
It is every promise of Jesus wrapped in certainty, delivered straight to the heart that’s been wrestling in the lighthouse of life.
Who isn’t walking through fear right now?
Who isn’t carrying something heavy something that wakes you at 3:00 a.m.?
But hear this: the King is in the room.
He has become your strength.
He has become your defense.
He has become your salvation.
And your story your journey your scars
are being held by the God who refuses to let you go. He is shaping your purpose, renewing your courage, and lifting you toward a future only grace can build.
So today, cling to His promises.
Let them reshape your thinking.
Let them oxygenate your spirit like a deep breath underwater breaking into air.
When you dwell on God’s promises, you begin to recognize His blessings even in uncertainty.
Trusting that He will redeem your present pain gives you courage to walk forward in faith with boldness, clarity, and holy determination.
As you move through this day, pause and remember:
You belong to a God who carries, guards, sings over, strengthens, instructs, shelters, and finishes what He begins in you.
He is faithful.
He is near.
He is not done with you.
As you move through this day, pause as I repeat :
You belong to a God who carries, guards, sings over, strengthens, instructs, shelters, and finishes what He begins in you.
He is faithful.
He is near.
He is not done with you.
And as you walk forward today, ask yourself with a joyful, humble heart: Who is your Sidewalk Prophet today? Who is God placing in your path for you to encourage, uplift, or bless in His name?
God bless you and this ministry!
