Family of God… let me speak this from a place of truth:
My life has been a hard fought journey of hallelujahs.
Bruised in places, healed in others, but still standing.
And I bring my heart, my mindset this is my story.
A story I can tell only because of the power of Jesus.
For years, I tried steering my own life…
Fear in the passenger seat, pain in the back, pride gripping the wheel.
Trying not to crash. Trying not to lose myself.
But one day I whispered the words that turned my whole journey around:
“Jesus, take the keys. You drive now. I surrender it all. Unashamed.”
And like Matthew 19:26 declares,
“With God all things are possible.”
From that moment on, He took over…
and the impossible started shifting into purpose.
Tupac wrote in The Rose That Grew from Concrete:
“Reach for the stars so if you fall you land on a cloud.”
And that line reminds me that even when we fall politically, personally, spiritually
Christ is the cloud beneath us,
grace catching what pride would have shattered.
As a member walking in the Braver Angels Way, I’ve learned this:
Our country doesn’t need more shouting;
it needs more listening.
More dignity.
More respect.
More common ground sense from people willing to say:
“My faith is bigger than my politics.”
“My neighbor is not my enemy.”
“Love gets the last word.”
If God could turn Joseph’s pit into purpose (Genesis 50:20),
He can turn America’s division into dialogue.
He can turn rhetoric into relationship.
He can turn contempt into compassion.
And right here… is where your heart meets your healing.
The Word says:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
So let me challenge you today:
Hand Jesus the keys of your heart…
and the keys of your conversations.
Let Him shape your tone.
Let Him guard your words.
Let Him guide our healing.
Be a peacemaker.
Be a bridge builder.
Be a son or daughter of Sunday every day.
Because every day is a gift from God,
a sunrise wrapped in mercy…
and a chance to live out your own hard-fought hallelujah.
This is Sugar Bear…
“You are loved. Fear not, for I am with you.” Isaiah 41:10
God bless you and this ministry!
