Serendipitous Thoughts by Sugar Bear
“A Morning of Awareness”
This morning, I was stopped in my tracks—awestruck by an Iowa sunrise painted in colors only the Master could create. The deep blue sky stretched across the horizon, stitched with streaks of gold and crimson. I stood still, speechless, marveling at the meticulous beauty. And then I heard my heart whisper, “You are truly blessed, Sugar Bear.”
Have you paused lately to reflect—not just on what you need from God—but on who He is and what He’s already done?
Psalm 77:11–13 says:
“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God?”
These verses remind us that when we’re in a season of waiting, when our prayers feel like echoes in silence, we must shift our focus. Doubt tempts us to settle, to quit believing, but our emotions don’t get the final word.
Instead, we choose remembrance.
God’s track record is flawless.
So write it down.
Say it out loud.
Meditate on His works—because what we meditate on, we magnify; and what we proclaim, we strengthen.
When we rehearse God’s goodness, it stirs faith—not just in us, but in others.
As Paul told Timothy:
“Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you.” (2 Timothy 1:6)
So today, make it your productive practice:
• Recall what God has done.
• Meditate on His mighty works.
• Share your faith boldly.
Even when it feels like He’s taking His time, trust this:
God has never stopped working on your behalf.
He is not bound by logic—He is bound by love.
He is faithful to finish what He started.
So hold on, and be reminded
The sunrise was just His postcard from heaven—a daily reminder that even when the night feels long, He’s still writing light into your story.
