Eat God’s food!

A wise man will hear and increase learning. Proverbs 1:5

I truly believe that if you continually invest in your love for God’s Word development, the inevitable result is growth over time. Although it's true that some people are born with greater natural gifts than others, the ability to challenge you about a personal study of God’s Word is really a simple collection of skills, nearly all of us possess. But you must begin to learn by, developing a routine and making time for the love of our life, “God Time”.  Be practical, but for some that process doesn't happen overnight. It may because you have people who are bored, disinterested, detached, unconcerned. What’s your excuse?

“The simple believes everything but the prudent gives thought to his steps”. Proverbs 14:15

I’ve often thought, “They don’t realize that they’re in a spiritual battle. They don’t realize that the bible is a needed weapon. They don’t realize that unless we learn it, and learn how to use it, our message for out reach may become unclear; learning to seek the face of God is the foundation for experiencing the amazing life Jesus died to give us. Grace upon grace, mercy upon mercy, affection upon affection, and love upon love.

“Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation”. 1 Peter 2:2

Eat God’s food! “Meditation all the day on God’s word” I’d like to challenge you to take the next step, ratchet up your commitment to the study of God’s Word.
For me, it has many personal relationship aspects: respect, emotional strength, cross bearing, discipline, vision, momentum as a mature believer to follow Christ daily and asking yourself, How, “God can use me”. As you can see, many factors that come into play in your Christian directions are intangible. That's why your Faith journey requires so much seasoning to be effective.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path”. Psalm 119:105

You’re in a new adventure. It’s the middle of the night. You feel the call of the Holy Spirit. You step out the back door of a new quest without a flashlight, and bang into the trails of life. Trip over tree roots of woe, fall into the streams of questions. Without a light, you stumble and get hurt or wander and get lost.
Life can be like that. You feel like you’re stumbling, you’re wandering. You’re hurt, you’re disoriented. God didn’t intend for life to be like that. He gave us a flashlight. But it doesn’t do us a bit of good unless we use it! Turn on God’s light! “The Bible a weapon for the Christian Soldier!

“Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”. Ephesians 6:17
